Golden Kernel Award

Is there a person you know that has gone above and beyond the call of duty as a citizen of North Ridgeville? Is there someone involved in several different organizations making the city a better place to live? If so, the North Ridgeville Corn Festival Committee would like to recognize them! The Committee is looking for nominations for the annual Golden Kernel award. Nominations will be open on June 3rd, 2013 and will be accepted until July 19th 2013.

Started in 1982, this award is presented to North Ridgeville residents that have improved the community and made it a better place to live. Nominations will be reviewed by the North Ridgeville Corn Festival Committee and the winners will be announced on Friday, August 9th, 2013 at the North Ridgeville Corn Festival Opening Ceremonies.
